Last weekend I went with the family to Orlando, to support Paulina, my oldest daughter and during the travel I had some time to get some insights while I was driving, and I remembered when my Grandma Martha told a history of a woman that when she was sick, she walked in front of the mirror and she said to herself: “I’m ok, I’m not sick, I’m well” and repeated for several times until she felt better…
Research shows that most of the current illness are caused or triggered by different states of mind… and they call those “Psychosomatic” and that’s true. One of the articles I found on the Internet mentioned some preventive rules to prevent illness:
- Don’t live life sad
- Don’t live by appearances
- Find Solutions
- Make Decisions
- Share your feelings
Easy, don’t you think so? Emotions and feeling that are hidden, repressed en in Gastritis, ulcer, lumbar pain and more… some experts even said that repression of feeling degenerates to the cancer…
When you don’t make decisions you remain in doubt, in anxiety, in anguish. Also accumulates problems, worries and aggressions. An undecided person is victim of gastric ailments, nervous pains and skin problems.
Criticism is only a way to hide our incapability to find solutions and as a result it produces lamentation, gossip, pessimism that finally will enlarge problems. We are what we think, what we declare with our mouths and what is in our minds. Negative thoughts will end in negative energy that is finally transformed into illness.
Hiding reality? People who is pretending, poses and always wants to give the impression of being well. They want to be seen as perfect, easy-going, etc. but this is just accumulating tons of weight. Is like a bronze statue with feet of clay. There is nothing worse for the health than to live on appearances and facades. These are people with a lot of varnish and little root. Their destiny is the pharmacy, the hospital and pain.
Hard to do it, but required… Accept. The refusal of acceptance and the absence of self-esteem, make us alienate ourselves. Being at one with ourselves is the core of a healthy life. They who do not accept this, become envious, jealous, imitators, ultra-competitive, destructive. Be accepted, accept that you are accepted, and accept the criticisms. It is wisdom, good sense and therapy.
We all are hurt at some point in our life, and it removes on of our valuable assets: Trust… Who does not trust, does not communicate, is not opened, is not related, does not create deep and stable relations, and does not know to do true friendships. Without confidence, there is not relationship. Distrust is a lack of faith in you and in faith itself.
And last but not finally… Do not live your life with sadness. Have good humor, laugh, and rest, seek your happiness. These replenish health and bring long life. The happy person has the gift to improve the environment wherever they live. “Good humor saves us from the hands of the doctor”. Happiness is health and therapy.
